Janet Bell Gallery

In November 2007, Janet Bell Gallery was born in the pretty town of Beaumaris, Anglesey. It displays and sells contemporary artist Janet Bell’s original paintings, prints and cards of Anglesey and North Wales’s beautiful coastline. Most prints are exclusive to the gallery. It also now stocks Janet’s cross stitch kits, coasters and placemats as well as a the brand new Janet Bell Studio range of textiles designed by Janet. What started out initially as just a studio where Janet painted and sold some originals, prints and cards turned into the gallery she dreamed of owning one day. 

After starting life in a small unit inside an old chapel, the gallery relocated in 2009 to a larger premises on Castle Street in the old Lloyd's Bank building. The new gallery still houses the original giant walk-in safe which is now filled to the brim with jewellery, lighting and soft furnishings. As well as the main display area there is a new small exhibition space for artists, so you can quite happily spend quite some time there. The gallery now stocks the work of over 50 independent British artists including ceramics, textiles, original paintings, prints, cards, jewellery and lighting.
