Walking

Anglesey is an unspoilt haven for walkers.

Going for a walk on Anglesey is a pleasure in itself. Here, it isn’t just about where you walk; it’s about the things you see, hear, smell and feel as you go, because you can’t get out and about in Anglesey without experiencing the stunning surroundings, so why not let your senses go wild and take it all in…

Anglesey is an unspoilt haven for walkers, with plenty to choose from including heritage routes, wildlife walks and intriguing geo trails. And on any one journey you can pass towering cliffs, sandy beaches, majestic woodlands, mountains, marshes and grassland.

Many of Anglesey’s visitors come to navigate the 125 miles of stunning Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path that makes its way around the edges of the island.

Not for the faint hearted, the coastal path climbs 4,174 metres during its journey, but it certainly lets you experience the wild beauty of our coast first hand.

Stop along the way to explore a hidden cove, watch the seals frolicking in the waters below or enjoy a tasty lunch at one of the many seaside restaurants.
