Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path - Official Guide

The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path runs over 200km (125 miles) through some of the grandest coastal scenery in Wales – wide sandy bays and estuaries; intimate coves; dramatic cliffs and rocky islets; sand dunes and forests. Much of this coastline is a designated as one of Wales five 'Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty' (AONB).

This guidebook has been prepared by an author with extensive knowledge of the island and its coastal path – Carl Rogers, author of two existing books to walking on Anglesey. Rosie Frankland, Coastal Path Manager, has provided supporting information throughout the text.

It has been designed to provide all the information needed to both plan and walk the coastal path and includes: Information on planning the walk such as accommodation, use and frequency of public transport, seasonal closures and tidal restrictions. Twelve day-walk chapter sections with detailed route description and mapping. Notes on points of interest encountered along the way.
