The central part of the island is home to Llangefni, the County town known for its historic charm and the oriel Mon (the Counties Museum and gallery housing collections from Charles Tunnicliffe and Sir Kyffin Williams to name just two.  Venture slightly further out and you will find Cors Ddygai an RSPB nature reserve and wetlands area which are well worth a visit.
