Welcome to Anglesey

Two people cycling on a forest track with lovely clouds ahead

Cycling

What better way to experience all the natural beauty that Anglesey has to offer than by bike?

Cycling gives you the chance to enjoy a change of pace, feel the wind in your hair and really enjoy the unspoilt scenery and rolling landscapes that Anglesey is so rich in.

Anglesey loves cyclists too, that’s why two of the UK’s nine cycle routes can be found here. Why not take on the Lôn Las Copr, or the NCN 566 as it’s also known?

This 36 mile circular tour connects the North East of the island, taking in the only working windmill in Wales and the moonscape that is Parys Mountain. Challenge yourself and ride it anticlockwise taking advantage of some invigorating climbs.

Alternatively, Lôn Las Cefni offers 13 miles of traffic free cycle path that is perfect to enjoy with all the family and is rich in nature and wildlife. And once you’re hooked to experiencing Anglesey on two wheels, why not challenge yourself by taking on our own cycling Etape, the Tour de Môn.
