There is a path that leads through the grassy hills from the beach to the nature reserve on Llanddwyn Island (Ynys Llanddwyn) and the surrounding forest has an excellent network of footpaths.
The historic site of Ynys Llanddwyn is well worth a visit. It is one of the best and most popular of the Anglesey beaches.

No parking on the A4080 Newborough to Malltraeth road
If you are visiting Llanddwyn, please be aware:
- Isle of Anglesey County Council urges you to park responsibly
- residents have highlighted concerns about inconsiderate parking along the A4080 between Newborough and Malltraeth
- parking enforcement officers operate in the area
- any vehicle parked on the grass verge alongside the A4080 will receive a fine (fixed penalty notice)
